Project Lead(s) University of Alaska, Fairbanks, Alaska Satellite Facility
DescriptionThe Arctic LCC and USGS have partnered with the Alaska Satellite Facility to make high-quality historical orthomosaics of the Arctic Alaska coast available. Imagery collected as part of Alaska High-Altitude Aerial Photography Program (AHAP) during 1978-1986 will be orthorectified and mosaicked to create a dataset suitable for detecting and quantifying changes in the coastline between Cape Krusenstern National Monument and the U.S./Canada Border.
Contributing Partner(s) U.S. Geological Survey, Pacific Coastal and Marine Sciences Center
