Products

The Arctic LCC is dedicated to making data and products derived from LCC-funded projects readily available to any interested parties.   Our products fall into six broad categories:

Spatial Data – includes both raster and vector data such as shapefiles and geodatabases.

Tabular Data – includes spreadsheets and databases.

Maps – includes maps depicting the geographic scope of the Arctic LCC as well as other maps generated by individual projects.

Publications & Reports – includes reports and peer-reviewed documents that detail the results of Arctic LCC funded projects and documents generated by LCC staff.

Presentations – includes posters created for conferences and presentation slides and their associated notes/handouts that describe Arctic LCC funded projects.

Applications – includes both web-based and desktop applications.

    Research on shorebirds from the north slope of Alaska, published in the top scientific journal Nature, describes how pairs of shorebirds manage the time spent incubating the eggs in their nest. Researchers funded in part by the Arctic Landscape Conservation Cooperative (Arctic LCC) found that each parent spends time on the nest, but how long they spend is determined by the way they defend the nest from predators.
